Field Trips & Youth Groups
Immerse your students in White House History with a field trip to The People’s House, located in the heart of Washington, DC, just steps from the National Mall and Smithsonian museums.
We are pleased to welcome K-12 school groups, homeschool groups, and extracurricular groups for on-site visits to our educational museum. There are two ways to experience The People's House. Choose the visit type that works best for you and your students.
Field trips are scheduled on a first come, first served basis and must be booked 6 weeks in advance. All field trips are free of cost.
Guided Tour + Classroom Experience
The People's House offers facilitated field trips for K-12 groups of 10-35 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the school year. If your group exceeds 35, we can schedule multiple sessions in the same day or over several days. Book a 60-90 minute experience led by a Field Trip Educator.
Self-Guided Experience
The People's House welcomes K-12 student and youth groups for 60 minute self-guided visits. Reserve a time for your group to experience our exhibits.
